A few short decades ago, plastic was seen as one of the most incredible things ever created. But today, the perception of plastic has gone from “miracle material” to “sustainable supervillain”.

99% of plastic today is made from fossil fuels which lead to long lasting pollution, greenhouse gas emissions, microplastics, and an on-going reliance on petroleum.

So, we’re turning agricultural waste into affordable bioplastic. Not just to take fossil fuel products out of agriculture, but to create a template for the plastics industry as a whole and help it rethink how we create the products we use every day.

We won’t do it alone. Solving this problem will require the application of many different solutions. And we believe waste-based plastics will play a critical role in this evolution.

The goal? For plastic to be the material of possibility, not pollution.
